Dr Emma Connolly is a Radiation Oncology Fellow specialising in Breast Cancer at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre Melbourne. She is a recent addition to the team, commencing her role in August 2023. This year, her focus includes the use of SABR in the setting of oligometastatic breast cancer and a review of modern radiotherapy techniques used in the treatment of DCIS and invasive cancers. Emma is an Irish-trained physician who completed her undergraduate studies at University College Dublin in 2012. She spent two years as a junior doctor in Western Australia before returning to Ireland to complete her Basic Specialist training (MRCPi) in Medicine, followed by higher specialist training in Radiation Oncology at St Luke’s Hospital Dublin and Cork University Hospital. She graduated from the Royal of Surgeons Ireland - Faculty of Radiologists and Radiation Oncologists (FRCR) in July 2023.
